After missing the first 34 games of the season due to a fractured left foot, CJ McCollum appeared in 38 games as a rookie. In those games he averaged 5.3 points (37.5% 3-PT), 1.3 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 12.5 minutes. In his second career NBA game, on Jan. 11 vs. Boston, he scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting, including 2-of-3 from outside the arc. Less than a month later he scored a career-high 19 points (6-12 FG, 3-6 3-PT) and added three rebounds and three assists against Minnesota on Feb. 8. The next game, on Feb. 11 vs. Oklahoma City, he notched 15 points and three assists. In three games from Feb. 8-12 he averaged 15.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.

McCollum played limited minutes in Portland’s postseason run.
