Wrapping up their best January since the 2008-09 season with a record of 9-5 to start the 2016 calendar year, the Portland Trail Blazers have begun to turn heads in the national media spotlight.
Winners of four straight, the Blazers have climbed into playoff position in eighth place of the Western Conference. Portland is smashing the 26.5 wins oddsmakers had predicted before the season with a 23-26 record entering February.
