PORTLAND, Ore. (Feb. 13, 2017) – The Portland Trail Blazers have recalled forward Jake Layman and guard Tim Quarterman from the Windy City Bulls of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by president of basketball operations Neil Olshey.
Over eight games with the Bulls, Layman posted averages of 17.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.63 steals and 33.3 minutes.
In nine games over two stints with Windy City, Quarterman averaged 9.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.78 steals and 29.5 minutes.
In 23 games with the Trail Blazers this season, Layman (6-9, 210) is averaging 2.3 points, 0.6 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 6.3 minutes. Quarterman (6-6, 190) is posting averages of 1.3 points, 0.5 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 3.3 minutes in 12 games with Portland.
