Game Day Hub: Portland at Atlanta

The Trail Blazers will be without their top scorers, Damian Lillard (foot) and CJ McCollum (ankle), as they rest injuries picked up in Sunday’s loss at Miami. Expect increased minutes for backup point guard Tim Frazier, as well as swingmen Gerald Henderson and Allen Crabbe as they attempt to fill the void left by Lillard and McCollum’s injuries.

Monday’s game in Atlanta serves as a homecoming of sorts for head coach Terry Stotts and forward Al-Farouq Aminu. Stotts spent his first stint as an NBA head coach in Atlanta from 2002-04, coaching the Hawks to a 52-85 record. Aminu was born and raised in Atlanta, starring at nearby Norcross High School before committing to Wake Forest as one of the top recruits in the class of 2008.

Monday’s action tips-off at 5:00 p.m. as Mike Barrett and Mike Rice call the action on CSNNW, while Brian Wheeler and Antonio Harvey describe the game on Rip City Radio 620.
