Even though the Trail Blazers are not playing today, you're likely to see at least one of Portland's players on the screen during the NBA's Christmas Day schedule.
In a new State Farm commercial premiering today, Damian Lillard's "twin brother" Darius signs on with Chris Paul and his twin, Cliff, as members of the State Farm "Bureau of Assists" team. Lillard joins John/Don Stockton, Stephen/Sebastian Curry and Summer/Sue Bird as new State Farm agents.
According to the spot, "Darius" Lillard, also known as "The Clutchman" for obvious reasons, "likes to say there's no 'I' in assist, even if there clearly is."
This is just the first spot in a new State Farm campaign, with future commercials slated to feature Damian and Darius.
Lillard was also recently featured on national television campaigns promoting Foot Locker (featuring Tracy McGrady), Adidas Swingman jerseys and Adidas Boost technology.
