James Harden out vs. Pelicans with toe injury

Houston's star suffered a toe sprain during Saturday night's win over Brooklyn

A right toe sprain kept James Harden out of Houston’s 127-112 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night.

Harden appeared to hurt his toe when teammate Danuel House Jr. and Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie fell into him during Saturday night’s 108-98 win. After the game, Harden said he was fine, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.

The Rockets (22-11) were also without All-Star guard Russell Westbrook, who continues to sit out the second-half of back-to-back games in an effort to ease his way back from injury, and center Clint Capela, who will miss a second-straight game with a bruised heel.
