The Los Angeles Lakers held off the Cleveland Cavaliers 112-109 in double-overtime Monday to advance to the championship game at the Las Vegas Summer League.

The Lakers, who won the summer league title in 2017, got 37 points from second-year guard Josh Hart, as well as 31 from rookie Svi Mykhailiuk. The pair combined to shoot 12-of-26 from beyond the arc and 25-of-48 from the floor. Hart also chipped in nine rebounds, while Xavier Rathan-Mayes had nine assists to go with 12 points.

Cleveland was led by rookie guard Collin Sexton’s 27 points, three rebounds and two assists. Sexton hit key jumpers down the stretch in both regulation and in the first overtime period. Jamel Artis and John Holland each added 17 points for the Cavs. Billy Preston had 10 points off the bench, but he rimmed out on a three-pointer at the end of the second overtime that would have tied the game up at 112.

The Lakers will move on to face the winner of Monday’s other semifinal matchup between Portland and Memphis.
