PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu will be out a “couple of weeks” because of a calf injury, according to coach Terry Stotts.
Aminu started in the first eight games for the Blazers this season, averaging 6.4 points and 6.6 rebounds before he was hurt Tuesday night early in Portland’s 124-121 win over the Phoenix Suns.
Aminu did not travel with the Blazers on Wednesday night against the Clippers in Los Angeles.
Addressing the media before Friday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings, Stotts said Aminu would be re-evaluated after some two weeks’ time.
