Although he was only 6'5", the player known as Jumpin Johnny Green was always getting the better of players much bigger than him. A collegiate star at Michigan State, Green was a first-round selection of the New York Knicks in 1959. He quickly impressed with his ability to rebound, block shots and above all --leap higher than most. Green was a four time All Star during his 14-year career spent with five NBA franchises.
