Gets opportunity with Minnesota
Martin appeared in 16 NBA contests for the Hawks last year, averaging 1.3 points in 4.1 minutes per game. However, he thrived at the G League level, posting 18.0 points (50/37/80 shooting splits) and 9.2 rebounds in 33.9 minutes per game. Martin is a long shot to make Minnesota's Opening Night roster, but he'll likely stick around the organization on a G League deal if he's cut.

Inks two-way deal
Ryan appeared in 34 games between the Lakers and Timberwolves last year and averaged 3.6 points in 9.1 minutes per game. The 6-foot-7 wing is a sharpshooter, connecting on 38.1 percent of 2.5 three-point attempts per game. Ryan will likely split time between the NBA and G League squad during the 2023-24 campaign.
