For decades the Phoenix Suns Gorilla has entertained fans in the Valley. On Sunday, he hits the national stage. As part of the SC Featured series, GO will be featured in a video piece called Origin of a Species: The Gorilla.
The feature will follow the Gorilla on a game night and talk about how he single-handedly changed what it meant to be a mascot in the NBA and what in-game entertainment is all about.
“It was an honor for me to be in Phoenix with the Gorilla," said former Sun Charles Bakrley. "Some of the stuff these mascots do, I think, is hilarious.’’
