Brother, Kerem, played for Xavier as a senior in 2017-18 after playing three seasons at Wisconsin-Green Bay ... Credits watching Sponge Bob Square Pants and Jersey Shore for helping to teach him English, because, he says, “You can have to learn the street language, not the normal language.” ... Favorite pro wrestler is The Undertaker ... Played for the World Team at the 2010 Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, shooting an event record 13-of-21 from the field, scoring 34 points and grabbing 13 rebounds ... His 34-point scoring effort for the World Team broke the individual record of 33 points previously set by Dirk Nowitzki in 1998.
