Bronny James Jr. was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

He appeared in 25 games (six starts) at USC for the 2023-24 season, averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 19.3 minutes. Bronny scored in double figures in three games, including a season-high 15 points at Oregon State on 12/30. He recorded at least 5 assists on four occasions, including a career-high 7 assists on 2/1/24 against Oregon.

Bronny is the son of Lebron and Savannah James. He was born in Akron, Ohio, and went to high school at Sierra Canyon in Los Angeles, California. He was a 2022-23 McDonald’s High School All-American and 2023 Nike Hoops Summit selection, ranked as the No. 20 prospect by ESPN in the Class of 2023 after averaging 13.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 steals in his senior year.
