Moses Shirief-Lamar Brown, son of Malcolm Brown and Wanda Williams, was born in 1999 in New York City. Malcolm was a 6-foot-7 center who played in junior college. Brown played high school basketball at Archbishop Molloy in New York City. Before spending a year at UCLA, he also starred in the Under Armour Association Circuit, averaging 14.2 points and 8.6 rebounds for the New Heights AAU Program.
