Likely to secure roster spot
Shamet is increasingly likely to earn a roster spot in the Knicks' opening night rotation, head coach Tom Thibodeau implied to Stefan Bondy of The New York Post. "I don't make the final decision on that, but I'm basing it on what [Shamet's] done on the floor. He's really done well," Thibodeau said.
