The New Orleans Pelicans will waive forward Markieff Morris, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

New Orleans recently acquired Morris in a trade with the Washington Wizards, but apparently have no plans of keeping him.

The 29-year-old is currently dealing with a neck injury and will become a free agent once waived.
