An elite all-around performance from rookie first-round pick Kobe Brown and a dominant fourth quarter helped lead the LA Clippers to a 102-91 comeback win over the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA 2K24 Summer League at Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on Friday afternoon.

The game was truly a tale of two halves, as the 76ers had expanded a one-point lead after the first quarter to 15 points by halftime. Philadelphia subsequently led by as much as 21 points two minutes into the third quarter, but after shaving their deficit down to six points going into the fourth, the Clippers’ 30-13 advantage over the final 10 minutes sealed a win that fell just short of the target 13-point margin of victory LA needed to guarantee a spot in tournament play this weekend.

Brown led all scorers with 35 points, complementing them with eight rebounds, three assists, four steals and two blocks. Xavier Moon continued his strong play with 17 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. Keaton Wallace supplied 14 points, four assists, one rebound and one steal. Brodric Thomas furnished 11 points, six rebounds, one assist and two blocks.

Jaden Springer paced the 76ers with 15 points, adding five rebounds, one assist, five steals and three blocks. Javonte Smart delivered 13 points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal. Greg Brown tallied 12 points, eight boards and three blocks. Louis King and Ricky Council IV each netted 11 points while pulling down six and four rebounds, respectively. King added three assists and one block.

The Clippers will know by the end of Friday night’s slate whether they’ve qualified for a tournament game this weekend.
