Massive Pork Tenderloin Sandwich
The Tenderloin Sandwich has been a go-to comfort food for Hoosiers dating back to the early 1900s and this special version is sure to keep that tenderloin tradition alive. Extending beyond the borders of its brioche bun, the Massive Pork Tenderloin Sandwich gets an assist of extra flavors from a starting five of toppings including zesty herb aioli, yellow onion, dill pickles, tomato, and lettuce.
Ingredients
MASSIVE PORK TENDERLOIN SANDWICH |
Brioche bun toasted |
Herb mayo |
Pork tenderloin, fried |
Green leaf lettuce |
2 5×6 sliced tomatoes |
2 yellow onions |
3 dill pickles |
HERB AIOLI |
1/4 cup thyme |
1/4 cup oregano |
1/2 cup parsley |
2 tbsp. garlic |
1/2 cup EVOO |
8 cups mayo |
Directions:
SANDWICH:
- Fry breaded pork tenderloin at 350 F for 3-4 minutes until cooked through and golden. Allow excess grease to drain over fryer.
- Toasted bun lightly on flat top.
- Spread top and bottom bun with herb mayo.
- Place bottom bun on plate and top with fried pork filet.
- Add lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles, then close with top bun
- Insert a know pick to hold sandwich together.
HERB AIOLO:
- Mix all until well combined.
- Refrigerate up to seven days until ready to use.
