Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Toronto Raptors due to a right shoulder contusion, the team announced. With their star guard on the sideline, the Hawks’ seven-game win streak came to an end in a competitive 106-100 loss.

Young is averaging 27.7 points, 9.3 assists and 4.1 rebounds over 45 games with Atlanta this season. He scored 36 points with 12 assists in 36 minutes during Atlanta’s win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
The Hawks dropped to 24-26 with the defeat, and sit 10th in the East, holding the final place for the conference Play-In Tournament.
