Six players -- 1 from each division -- were selected as finalists for the NBA Sportsmanship Award.

The NBA announced the finalists for the 2022-23 NBA Sportsmanship Award, which recognizes the player who best represents the ideals of sportsmanship on the court.

Current players will select the winner from the six finalists, each of whom represents the six divisions in the NBA. The players who are finalists for 2022-23 are: Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat), Mike Conley (Minnesota Timberwolves), Harrison Barnes (Sacramento Kings), Darius Garland (Cleveland Cavaliers), Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks) and Boban Marjanovic (Houston Rockets).

Patty Mills of the Brooklyn Nets won the award last season.

The NBA Sportsmanship Award trophy is named in honor of Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Joe Dumars, a six-time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA champion. Dumars played 14 NBA seasons and won the inaugural Sportsmanship Award in the 1995-96 season.
