We’re talking massive blocks, rim-shattering slams, hard fouls, impressive hustle and gritty endurance.
In honor of the NBA’s 75th season, the jersey represents a storied Pistons franchise that never backs down:
- The jersey displays “Detroit” across the chest, and accented teal, royal and white arm taping.
- Pistons’ original and current patches are featured on opposite sides of the shorts and are accented with lightning bolt strikes, reminiscent of the “revitalizing period” of the late ‘70s. The side panels are lined up and down with teal and blue, a nod to the teams of the mid- to late-‘90s.
- The color block waistband is a remix of the classic “flaming horse” and the logo from the championship era.
- The anthem above the jock tag features “Detroit Basketball,” the team’s rally cry and moniker. The anthem also features three numbers — ’89, ’90, ’04 — representing the Pistons’ back-to-back championships and historic upset of the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2004 Finals.
