The Detroit Pistons City Edition uniform takes inspiration from the team’s iconic championship history and pays tribute to the original fan-made “Detroit Bad Boys” logo.
The black base with orange piping features “Detroit” in the classic script font across the chest. The shorts have a modernized take on the logo with a crackled “313” to reference the skull and crossbones which are also featured down the sides to tie it all together.
The CD2 logo on the jock tag pays homage to Hall of Fame Pistons Coach Chuck Daly, who led the Detroit Bad boys to five straight Eastern Conference Finals, three straight NBA Finals and back-to-back NBA titles, solidifying their championship reputation.
