The Brooklyn Nets marked Martin Luther King Jr. Day by participating in a day of service at Brownsville Ascend Lower School.
Trevor Booker and Sean Kilpatrick helped build and paint benches and bookshelves for the school’s reading nook. The players worked with volunteers from City Year, Brownsville Ascend Lower School and Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment on the project.
