Brooklyn Nets Sign Noah Clowney

BROOKLYN – The Brooklyn Nets have signed forward Noah Clowney, the 21st pick in the first round of the 2023 NBA Draft, to a multi-year contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Clowney (6’10”, 210) played one season at the University of Alabama (2022-23), where he averaged 9.8 points on 48.6 percent shooting from the field, 7.9 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 25.4 minutes per game across 36 total games (all starts). The Spartanburg, S.C., native finished fifth in the Southeastern Conference in rebounds per game and earned All-SEC Freshman Team honors. The 18-year-old helped lead the Crimson Tide to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament, where he averaged 6.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals over 22.7 minutes per contest in three postseason games. A four-star recruit out of high school, Clowney was the top-ranked prep player in South Carolina.
