BROOKLYN – As part of the NBA’s City Edition Remix, the Brooklyn Nets are bringing back their fan-favorite Brooklyn Camo City Edition uniform — inspired by The Notorious B.I.G. — for the 2025-26 season. First debuted in 2018, the Brooklyn Camo uniform sold out when originally launched and remains one of the most popular in the Nets’ Brooklyn era. The uniform represents the borough’s storied history, its lasting impact in music, art, and culture, and one of its most iconic talents.

The uniform’s return will be paired with a custom Biggie-themed court and a new series of “Biggie Nights,” created in partnership with the Estate of The Notorious B.I.G. The first “Biggie Night” game on Tuesday, Nov. 11 will feature programming developed with the Estate, including special halftime performances (to be announced at a later date) and a Biggie bobblehead giveaway. Other “Biggie Night” games will include themed contests, in-arena playlists, talent appearances, and more. Tickets for the first “Biggie Night” on Nov. 11 - and all Nets home games for the 2025-26 season - are on-sale now at brooklynnets.com/tickets.

“You can’t talk about Brooklyn without invoking the sentiment ‘Spread Love the Brooklyn Way.’ The Notorious B.I.G. repped Brooklyn to the fullest and had a resounding effect on everyone who calls Brooklyn home. His influence is unmatched, and it is an immense privilege to honor Biggie and his legacy as one of the most influential cultural icons of all time,” said Elliot Osagie, CEO and Founder of Benin City Entertainment. “Our relationship with the Brooklyn Nets has always been organic, I worked to bring this vision to reality from way back in 2017 with the raising of Biggie’s banner at Barclays Center. And now, to see how this spark of an idea has grown, and to see the future of where it is going, is a true gift to day-one fans and all those Biggie fans yet to be. We look forward to the experiences and events we have in store for them this season and beyond.”

“We are incredibly excited to bring back our Biggie-inspired uniforms, paying tribute to one of Brooklyn’s most enduring cultural icons,” said Andrew Karson, Executive Vice President of Sports and Corporate Marketing at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, parent company of the Brooklyn Nets. “The Notorious B.I.G. embodies the relentless hustle, unfiltered authenticity, and audacious creativity that continue to define this borough, and celebrating his legacy through our uniforms allows us to share his story with a new generation of fans. We are honored to deepen our partnership with the Estate of The Notorious B.I.G. and look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts to honor his impact in Brooklyn and around the world.”

The black uniform features a multi-color “Brooklyn Camo” pattern - inspired by the iconic rapper and symbolizing both the borough’s cultural diversity and diversity of the Nets’ fanbase - which runs down the sides of the jersey and shorts as well as along the neck and arm trim. Placed above the jersey’s jock tag is an original BED-STUY mark designed by local renowned graphic artist Eric Haze, which shouts out the neighborhood where Biggie grew up. As with all Nets uniforms, the jersey will feature the All In Won patch on the top left chest.

Fans will get their first look at the 2025-26 City Edition uniforms during the team’s Practice in the Park on Saturday, Sept. 27, held at Potomac Playground in Biggie’s hometown neighborhood of Bed-Stuy. Practice in the Park is an annual event aimed to deepen the Nets’ connection with the Brooklyn community and members of Biggie’s family and close friends will be in attendance this year.

Considered to be “the greatest rapper of all time,” The Notorious B.I.G. ignited the music scene in 1993 with his effortless, laid-back delivery and his raw, autobiographical lyrics. Born in Brooklyn, The Notorious B.I.G. is credited for reinventing East Coast hip-hop, with AllMusic declaring him the “savior” of the genre. The legendary rapper has sold over 28 million albums in the United States alone, has over 9.7 billion streams just on Spotify, and was nominated for four Grammys. Cementing him as a cultural icon, he receives countless accolades that continue to this day, from his 2020 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, to the Library of Congress preserving his multi-platinum debut album Ready To Die, archiving it in the National Recording Registry in 2024.

The Nets’ City Edition uniform builds on the team’s commitment to celebrating iconic Brooklyn creators – such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, KAWS and KidSuper. The initiative also reflects thefanbase’s growing interest in fashion and style, exemplified by the launch of the team’s premium private label line, bǝrō.

The Nets will wear the uniform for a total of 11 games this season, including:

· Friday, Jan. 9 vs. Los Angeles Clippers

The Nets’ 2025-26 City Edition uniforms and merchandise collection will be available for purchase on Tuesday, Nov. 11 online at netsstore.com at 11 a.m. EST and in person at the Nets’ team store at Barclays Center, Brooklyn Fanatics, beginning at noon.
