The Phoenix Suns are back in the driver’s seat for the 2022 NBA title.
After sliding back behind the Golden State Warriors entering the second round of the playoffs, the Suns are yet again favorites to cut down the nets at seven of the eight sportsbooks in our database (you can see all futures odds here).

Phoenix lost the top spot to Golden State primarily due to star guard Devin Booker suffering a hamstring injury during the opening round to the Pelicans. However, Booker is back in the fold, and all Phoenix has done is drill Dallas by a combined 27 points in the first two games of the second round.
The Suns clocked out of the regular season with the best overall record (64-18) and average scoring margin per game (+7.2). Their 55.6% cover rate (50-40 ATS) is the fifth-best mark in the NBA as they continue their postseason run.

The only sportsbook to not list Phoenix the favorite is PointsBet, which prices the Warriors (+275) the team to beat, followed by the Celtics (+350), then Suns (+450).
Golden State has made the biggest jump since the playoffs started, climbing from +1000 to a peak of +275. Although the Warriors are knotted up with the Grizzlies 1-1, Golden State is six-point chalk for Game 3 on Saturday (check real-time NBA odds here).
It’s likely do-or-die for both the 76ers and Mavericks in the bottom of the field. They’re both down 2-0 in their respective series and are pick’ems in Game 3.
