The Comerica Bank Women’s Business Awards Program recognizes women in leadership in Southern California, in tribute
to their contributions. Winners were selected based on the following five categories:
- Woman of Entrepreneurship: Recognizing women business owners at companies of all sizes
- Woman of Business: Recognizing women executives (non-owner of the business)
- Woman of Philanthropy: Recognizing women who are changing our local community for the better
- Woman of Diversity: Recognizing women who are role models and breakthrough agents in our multicultural city, and who share their experience to guide our future leaders
- Woman of Promise: Recognizing women who are "rising stars" in their chosen field or industry
Honorees for the Month of February 2020:

The Comerica Bank Woman of Promise is Jessica Salinas, co-founder of Stat Zero, a social
impact fund with a mission to achieve zero-pollution, zero-disease, and zero-poverty. Jessica graduated from
Stanford Univserity as a first-generation college student and then went on to obtain her Master of Science
in Social Entrepreneurship. Through her work with Stat zero, Jessica was recently invited by the United
Nations to join a team to teach social impact in China.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Diversity is Janelle Metzger, co-founder and CEO of Aneuvia, the
first activist investment firm focused on increasing diversity on corporate boards and management teams.
Presently, Janelle focuses on providing investors with the financial returns and the opportunity to
positively impact women and girls.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Philanthropy is Danielle Garcia, co-founder of non-profit,
Ballers Philanthropy. Danielle began this non-profit with a mission to bridge the gap between professional
athletes and the community. While leading ballers philanthropy, Danielle also works for the Anaheim Ducks
and is a member of the group, women’s in sports and events, where she loves empowering women in the sports
industry.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Business is Sandy Lohr, CEO of Matchcraft, a digital marketing
technology and service company. Since joining Matchcraft in 2015, Sandy has led the company to nearly
doubling their revenues and now serves clients in 44 countries delivering ad campaigns in over 20 languages.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Entrepreneurship is Amy Cook, co-founder and owner of CSL Group,
Inc. A bulk shipping and transhipment company. Amy was born and raised in Hong Kong and moved to the U.S.
alone at age 25. The determination that it took to start this business on her own in a country she didn’t
really undestand yet, is a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit.

The Comerica Bank Woman of Business is Tamala Lewis, senior director of community affairs
and the foundation of AEG’s Dignity Health Sports Park. Tamala, has been a true leader for 16 years at AEG,
As she presides over community boards, created the annual women in entertainment luncheon and focuses on
numerous youth community initiatives. Please welcome Tamala Lewis.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Entrepreneurship is Karine Aylozyan, CEO for Micro Quality Labs
Inc. As a minority woman business owner, Karine leads with the knowledge from her 25 years of experience in
microbiology and chemistry. Karine points her success to the fact that she is present in the daily operation
of the laboratory by working side by side with all of her employees. Please welcome Karine Aylozyan!
The Comerica Bank Woman of Diversity is Arnice Lamb, manager of supplier diveristy at the
Walt Disney Company. Arnice has been pioneering the way with innovative diversity programs at Disney for the
last 30 years. Under her leadership, Disney has won countless awards. Arnice’s drive has led her to
personally develop and mentor hundreds of diverse entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Promise is Ryanne Plaisance, owner of Los Angeles City Kids Pre
School and Elementary School. After overcoming paralysis from a disease called Transverse Myelitis, Ryanne’s
goal has been to remove students from desks, and into the city of LA to learn from hands-on experiences.
Ryanne is an influential leader, dedicated to creating an empowering enviroment.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Philanthropy is Clinese Davis, owner and CEO of Ultimate Progress
Incorporated of El Segundo. For more than 30 years, Clinese has provided comprehensive services and made a
difference in the lives of the developmentally-disabled population of southern California. She has become a
successful business owner, and a fierce advocate and friend to all.

The Comerica Bank Woman of Business is Linda Kornfeld, partner & vice chair of insurance
recovery at Blank Rome. Linda has been a leading attorney in a highly competitive, male-dominated field for
more than 25 years. She was also selected in 2016 as a “Woman Worth Watching” by Divesity Journal. Since
then she’s had numerous more recognitions over the years. Please welcome Linda Kornfeld!
The Comerica Bank Woman of Promise is visual anthropologist, Briana Young. Briana has worked
On an Emmy nominated documentary, directed & produced a series of videos in association with National
Geographic, and has even been published. She currently works at Elemental Productions where shes approaching
a project on autism in a unique and innovative way. Please welcome Briana Young!
The Comerica Bank Woman of Philanthropy is Adrienne Dixon, a leading advocate at the Center
of Hope Church. Adrienne works to offer support and strength throughout the community. She is a phenomenal

The Comerica Bank Woman of Entrepreneurship is Gemma Serenity Gorokhoff, co-founder of
L’amour Holistic. Gemma moved across the world without speaking english and built herself up to become a
true example of courage, leadership and resilience. Through her mentoring business, she helps others go

The Comerica Bank Woman of Business is Marcy Rogers, CEO & founder of Spinemark. Marcy, a
true leader for over 30 years, has built her executive career in the healthcare industry through the
development of niche surgical centers and the creation of nonprofit organizations to drive education,
research and care for under or uninsured patients.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Entrepreneurship is Kaitlin Mogentale, founder of Pulp Pantry.
Kaitlin is an innovative entrepreneur who started her company shortly after graduating from USC, sharing her
passion and focus on sustainable consumption.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Diversity is Monica Patino-Ayala, clinical manager of the women’s program at the Michaels House Treatment Center. Monica completed her master of arts in counseling psychology from Argosy University. Her passion as a therapist is fueled by success stories throughout her experience.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Promise is Jessica Gonzalez, a true leader at Montague Charter
Academy and Puc. Jessica’s aura of positivity is contagious to all as she puts people in awe of her work
ethic and dedication to her students and community. Jessica has an enormous dedicated heart for public
education and children.
The Comerica Bank Woman of Philanthropy is Sarah Lang, a passionate and dedicated mentor and
volunteer. After 27 years with capital group, Sarah currently serves as the continuous improvement coach.
Her progressive career has made her the perfect mentor for economically disadvantaged and under-resourced
Teens as they chase their dreams to attend college.
