Comerica Bank Women’s Business Awards March 2022 Honorees

The Comerica Bank Woman of Promise is Danielle Oswood. Danielle has been teaching and coaching for 23 years. She is currently in her 4th year at Palm Desert High School where she teaches PE classes, Athletic Conditioning for female athletes and is also the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity Basketball Team. In addition to that, she is the Assistant Softball Coach, Club Adviser of Gender and Sexuality Alliance, Desert Sands Teachers Union Vice President, Human Rights Committee Chair for Desert Sands Teachers Association.

The Comerica Bank Woman of Philanthropy is Jill Buck. This mother of two, who also happens to be a celebrity hairstylist, does it all. Besides her family time, Jill’s other priority is giving back to her community as the creative director of the Beyoutiful foundation. Over the last 5 years she’s helped build a wonderful community committed to loving others when they need it the most, when fighting cancer. She is responsible for assisting in thousands of hair donations which have then been used to create wigs for the cancer fighters that Beyoutiful supports.

The Comerica Bank Woman of Entrepreneurship is Maggie Yaowang Tseng. Maggie is the founder of Taozugong Limited, a fast-growing interior design and home staging company committed to helping everyone achieve their dream home in an affordable and sustainable way. As a minority immigrant woman, Maggie ran into many cultural and language barriers, but has embraced her own background and has thrived in various culture markets. With her strong passion for design, sharp vision for business, and perseverance in the face of hardship, she helped the company grow 10x in two years.

The Comerica Bank Woman of Diversity is Jacqueline Medrano. Jacqueline is first-generation immigrant University graduate that is breaking barriers in her male dominated industry as a Latina woman and a member of the LGBT community. She came to the U.S. without speaking English and today runs one of the biggest plumbing service and repair companies in Los Angeles. She has ascended the corporate ladder with her charismatic leadership skills, courage, and resilience. These skills have helped her promote a positive company culture, top performance, and high morale for team members.
