Lakers spokesman John Black said on Tuesday that the Lakers are sending No. 7 overall pick Julius Randle to see a foot specialist in Indiana as a precaution. Although Mitch Kupchak said during Monday's press conference that the Lakers don’t think Randle needs a pre-emptive surgery on his foot, the team wants to "err on the side of caution," said Black, and "leave no stone unturned." As such, Randle will be examined by Dr. David Porter, one of the most respected foot doctors in America. The Lakers don't expect to have results of his examination until late Wednesday or even Thursday, but will provide an update at that point.
