The mission of LA's Best is to provide safe and supervised after-school education, enrichment and recreation for school children ages 5-12 in the City of Los Angeles. The Junior Laker Girls program brings together over 2,500 youth across all Southern California Boys & Girls Clubs. The Laker Girls visit each club and teach kids ages 6-16 how to dance the Laker Girls way. Dancers from each club learn about teamwork, sportsmanship and what is takes to be a Laker Girl before learning a Laker Girls routine! Following the clinics, dancers have the opportunity to perform the dance alongside the Laker Girls at halftime of a Lakers game!
