The Lakers kicked off the East West Bank “A Season of Giving” on Monday, November 18th by teaming with Lucille’s Bar-B-Que in Torrance to provide a Thanksgiving dinner to the community. Pau Gasol, Nick Young, and the Laker Girls served a delicious turkey dinner to kids from the YMCA of West San Gabriel Valley, and families from Pacific Clinics. Pau, Nick and the Laker girls served dinner, dessert, signed lots of autographs and took several pictures with kids and families throughout the evening.
The Los Angeles Lakers have been participating in “A Season of Giving” for more than ten years and have successfully shared the joy of the holiday season with thousands of children and adults of the Greater Los Angeles area. Events to come include a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway, a holiday party for kids, and a gift delivery to “adopted families”.
