SEASON SUMMARY:
Before a torn peroneus longus tendon in his right foot suffered at the Clippers on April 6 ended his season, Bazemore had been one of the bright spots on the Lakers roster. After being acquired from Golden State at the trade deadline, the Old Dominion product ranked fourth on the team in scoring (13.1) and third in minutes played (28.0). He hit 37.1 percent of his three's, dropping at least two triples in 10 contests after his arrival. His ability to create and finish in transition, along with his versatility on both ends of the floor and his energy and activity defensively drew consistent praise from Mike D'Antoni and his staff. Bazemore underwent successful surgery on April 16 to repair the torn tendon in his right foot and is expected to make a full recovery for the 2014-15 year.

"The biggest thing I've learned that is that I belong. I've faced guys that I've watched destroy this league. I played against a lot of good players and (held my own). The confidence of me being able to play, I think I do belong. I still have a lot of room to grow and still have a lot of room as a player.
