The Utah Jazz Set to Debut Sensory Room for Young Fans with Autism at Vivint Arena
On March 30, the Utah Jazz, Vivint Gives Back and Vivint Smart Home Arena will make their brand new Sensory Room available to those attending events at the venue. Located on the fifth floor on the southeast corner of the building, the Sensory Room was created for children with autism, Down Syndrome and other sensory-processing disabilities in mind. There are iPads, lights, bubble tubes and a music station. The space was created as a respite from an arena experience that can sometimes be overwhelming, particularly to children with these specific sensitivies.
