With Monday’s Western Conference matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Memphis Grizzlies will unveil their throwback Memphis Sounds uniforms in the first of five Hardwood Classics Nights at FedExForum (plus three away games), presented by First Tennessee Bank.
Additionally, a limited number of $15 anniversary tickets are available in the Terrace Level starting today to see the Nov. 16 matchup at FedExForum in recognition of 15 seasons of Memphis Grizzlies basketball. This season, the Grizzlies are celebrating basketball’s rich legacy in Memphis and the Mid-South through the Hardwood Classics Nights at FedExForum. On five home dates this season, the team will wear throwback Memphis Sounds uniforms in recognition of the ABA (American Basketball Association) team that once called Memphis home from 1974-75.
Hardwood Classics at FedExForum will feature groovy entertainment programming and unique “old school” giveaways including Monday’s Memphis Sounds Pennant giveaway (to the first 5,000 fans in attendance) and Memphis Sounds Tacky Holiday T’s and Memphis Sounds Car Air Fresheners on future Hardwood Classics nights.
Hardwood Classics will continue with the Dec. 3 game vs. San Antonio (Memphis Sounds Tacky Holiday Tee to the first 5,000 fans); Dec. 29 vs. Miami; Jan. 16 vs. New York and Feb. 19 vs. Minnesota (Memphis Sounds Car Freshener to the first 5,000 fans). Now available, fans can pick up their own Memphis Sounds gear, including hats, T-shirts, jerseys and more at the Grizzlies Den by adidas at FedExForum.
