• Karlo Matković is a 6-foot-11 combination power forward/center who showed promise as a 20-year-old last season for Mega Mozzart of the Serbian ABA Adriatic league. In 25 games (8 starts) for Mega Mozzart, the Croatian produced 11.6 points and 6.1 boards per Adriatic contest during the 2021-22 season.
• Born in March of 2001 in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Matkovic joined the Cedevita U16 squad (Adriatic Junior league) in 2017. In 2018, he played on Cedevita’s U16 and U18 squads. That led to his first professional contract in April of 2019 with Cedevita’s senior league squad. As a 17-year-old, he played nine games with the senior squad and averaged over 10 minutes per contest.
• For the 2019-20 season, Matkovic was loaned to OKK Belgrade for the Serbian League season. With OKK Belgrade, Matkovic started 24 of 25 games, but only saw 13-plus minutes of run per contest.
