The Clippers are gaining momentum as they enter Monday night’s matchup against the Celtics. L.A.’s dramatic win over the Thunder on Friday night marked its fourth straight win, and fifth in the past six games.

The Clippers completed a franchise-record 28-point comeback against the Celtics in February – the team’s second 25-point comeback this season.

Williams Makes History

Lou Williams scored 40 points in the win against the Thunder, his 28th career game with 30 or more points off the bench – passing Ricky Pierce for the most in NBA history. It also marked his fifth career game of 40 or more points off the bench, the most in recorded NBA history. Williams enters Monday’s game just 27 points behind Dell Curry for most career points off the bench.

The Celtics have won four of their last five games, including a 23-point victory on the road against the Golden State Warriors. All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving is averaging career-highs in rebounds (4.9 per game) and assists (6.9) while shooting the highest percentage of his career from the field (49.8 percent) and from three (42.2 percent).
