GAME PREVIEW: 5 Things You Should Know About Clippers vs. Spurs

LA Clippers vs. San Antonio Spurs
FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. Last Matchup: 10/29/2023 | LAC 123 - SAS 83 | K. Leonard: 21 PTS - D. Vassell: 14 PTS
  2. The Clippers have beaten the Spurs by at least 38 points in each of their last two meetings. It’s the sixth time in NBA history a team has won consecutive games against a single opponent by 38+ points as no team has ever done so in three straight.
  3. All five Clippers starters had more than five rebounds against the Rockets, the team’s second time having that happen this month (also against Nets on November 8). Prior to November, the Clippers hadn’t had multiple such games in the same season since doing so four times in 1993-94.
  4. Kawhi Leonard has had at least five steals in each of his last two games, making him the only NBA player with such a streak this season. The last player to have five or more steals in three straight NBA games was Anthony Edwards (November 30 – December 7, 2022).
  5. The Clippers are averaging 20.5 points off turnovers per game this season (fourth in NBA) after averaging 16.0 last season. The improvement of 4.5 points per game is the second- largest increase in the NBA (Washington, +6.2).
