Pregame Report: Clippers Host Trail Blazers Wednesday Night
1 / 8Rowan Kavner LOS ANGELES – The Trail Blazers have scored at least 100 points every game this year. The Clippers haven’t allowed 100 points since the opener against Portland. Rivalry aside, Portland’s explosive offense and the Clippers’ shutdown defense should make for another entertaining matchup Wednesday night, as the Clippers try to repeat their opening night result with another win against Portland, this time at home. “There’s still progress,” said Chris Paul. “We’re just going to keep defending. I’m pretty confident our offense will come. But, we’ve been saying it for years, ‘Offense is something that comes and goes.’ We want to be able to hang our hat on defense. That’s what we’re trying to do.” Gameday Coverage »
