Job before joining the LA Clippers.

Before coming to the LA Clippers I worked in the non-profit world in schools providing college and career readiness programming.

When did you realize you wanted to work in sports?

Growing up, sports was a big part of my life. It wasn’t until I was working at a non-profit that worked with a sports team’s Community Relations department that I realized I could make an impact on my community working in sports.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

I love that my job allows me to be out in the city and create a lasting impact on the LA community. No day is ever really the same and I get to work with every department in the company in some capacity throughout the year.

What advice do you have for women trying to break into the sports industry?

A career journey isn’t always a straight line. Be willing to try different jobs, roles, finding out what you don’t like will help get you to the right spot. So many jobs have transferable skills that transfer into the sports industry.
