CLEVELAND, OH - April 12, 2012 - Cavaliers center Semih Erden suffered a right ankle sprain during last night’s game versus Indiana at The Q. X-rays taken at The Q last night were negative and he received an MRI this morning at the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Sports Health, which confirmed the ankle sprain. Erden will not travel with the team today to Indiana and will be listed as OUT for the Cavaliers game at Indiana on Friday and at Washington on Saturday. He will remain in Cleveland to receive treatment and his status will be updated as appropriate.
