In Friday’s 128-90 win over the Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland shot over 50 percent from the field (.506), 40 percent from the three-point line (.465) and 90 percent from the foul line (.917). It’s just the fourth time since the 2000-01 season the Cavs have had a 50-40-90 game (4/5/16 vs. MIL, 3/13/07 vs. SAC, 12/11/01 vs. HOU).

The Cavs have scored at least 128 points in consecutive games for the second time this season (Nov. 1-3 and Nov. 23-25). Prior to this season, Cleveland has never had consecutive games with at least 128 points. The Cavs are averaging 112.0 points per game in 2016-17 (2nd-best in NBA).

Much of the Cavaliers success at the offensive end has come via the long ball. The Cavs became the first team in NBA history to have back-to-back regular season contests with 20 three-pointers or more after knocking down a franchise record 21 threes against Portland on Wednesday and 20 versus Dallas on Friday.

The Cavs have hit at least 10 three-pointers in all 14 games, extending their NBA record for consecutive games with 10 or more made threes to start a season. They also lead the NBA in threes made per game this season (13.9). At Philadelphia on November 5, the Cavs made 14 three-pointers.

The Wine and Gold will look to keep their hot shooting as they travel to the City of Brotherly Love for the second time this month.

Cleveland came away with a one point win on November 5th but Philly center, Joel Embiid, was impressive. Embiid tallied a team-high 22 points, six rebounds and four blocks in 25 minutes. On the season, the big man from Kansas is averaging 17.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.

No Brotherly Love

This is the second of three regular season matchups between the two teams this season. The Cavs defeated the Sixers 102-101 at Wells Fargo Center on November 5, when they scored 40 fastbreak points, their most since the NBA began tracking the stat in 1996-97. (Elias)

Dating back to Nov. 9, 2013, the Cavs are 10-1 in their matchups with the 76ers and have won each of the last seven games.

The two teams will wrap up their season series on March 31st in Cleveland.
