2010 Season Ticket Holder Party

CLEVELAND, OH - November 16, 2010 - Food and fun filled the 4,000 square foot facility as the capacity crowd honed their gaming skills in anticipation of the Cavs’ arrival for their annual meet the team event for season ticket holders at Dave and Buster’s in Westlake, Ohio. A short time later, the entire team, coaches and front office staff arrived and spent the evening playing games and interacting with fans.

As part of the Cavaliers Season of Giving, the season ticket holders in attendance donated the fixin’s for Thanksgiving dinner that will feed nearly 500 local families in the Greater Cleveland community.
Here’s a small sampling of the gaming that took place:
Mo Williams tried his skills on the NASCAR track as he raced against the children. It turns out Mo is a much better basketball player than NASCAR driver.

Christian Eyenga stuck to the skills he knows best and took on several competitors at Pop-A-Shot, narrowly beating a 12-year-old named Brandon by one point.

Anthony Parker manned the air hockey table and @AMP1808 later tweeted, “Had fun at Dave n Busters with season ticket holders! Gotta work on my air hockey skills. Thanks to all who came out!”

Basketball is not the only round ball sport Cavs Head Coach Byron Scott is good at. He took on and beat some pool sharks in a game of doubles in the Billiards Room.

Daniel Gibson lost to a girl on the snowmobiles and took a photo with her after his defeat.

Laughter filled the air as the players signed autographs and took pictures with the eager fans. At the end of the evening the Cavs sales team raffled off an autographed team ball, Mo Williams, Daniel Gibson and Anderson Varejao jerseys and an Antawn Jamison ball. We are not sure who had more fun, the season ticket holders or the players.
