Orange You Glad You’re a Cavs Fan?

On the court, the players will comply wearing their retro orange uniforms for the second of six Hardwood Classics games that will celebrate the Cavaliers 1986-87 season.

In the summer of 1986, the Cavaliers hired Wayne Embry as General Manager and Lenny Wilkens as head coach, and proceeded to build the foundation of a team that would eventually represent the Golden Era of Cavaliers Basketball – selecting Brad Daugherty with the number one pick and acquiring Ron Harper and Mark Price later in that year’s NBA Draft. Along with Hot Rod Williams and Craig Ehlo, the 1986-87 squad rekindled Cleveland’s passion for basketball and became the nucleus of a team that would challenge for Eastern Conference supremacy in seven of the next eight years.

Each of the Hardwood Classics Nights will take fans down that memory lane with in-game tributes
and special giveaways. Every fan in attendance at the February 22nd game will receive an orange T-shirt presented by Cleveland Clinic Sports Health and FSN Ohio. Tickets are available by calling 1-800-820-CAVS or by visiting www.cavs.com.
