GameDay Preview: Cavaliers vs. Washington Wizards

Game Summary

The Wine & Gold take on the Washington Wizards for the second of four regular season matchups tonight at The Q. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Cleveland (6-7) is coming off a 32-point win (106-74) over the Orlando Magic on Monday, which was their largest margin of victory this season.

The Cavs defense put together its best performance of the season on Monday versus the Magic, setting opponent season lows in points (74), field goals made (29), field goal percentage (.363) and assists (14). It was the second straight game the Cavaliers held their opponent to .400 shooting or less from the field.

Washington (9-4) enters tonight's contest on the second leg of a back-to-back after falling to the Hawks, 107-102, last night in Atlanta.

Wizards floor general, John Wall, had 21 points and 13 assists but also six turnovers, while big man, Marcin Gortat, chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Washington played without power forward Nene, who missed his first game due to injury this season with plantar fasciitis in his right foot.
