The Cavaliers Scream Team is a dance crew of animated, Street-Style Hip-Hop dancers known for their gravity-defying break-dance stunts, head spins and impressive moves. They are energetic and exciting dancers with the unbelievable ability to hype up the fans, on the court and in the community.

All candidates must be 18 years of age or older by August 1st, 2023.

All candidates will be asked to demonstrate dance, performance and speaking skills

Candidates must be willing to devote a large percentage of time to the Scream Team program, including team practices twice a week, all Cavs home games, community/charitable events and special projects in the Cleveland area.

Prepare to learn a hip-hop style dance routine and perform the routine in front of the judges panel that same day

There will be a freestyle portion of this audition

There will be a panel interview portion of this audition

NO SPECTATORS WILL BE PERMITTED TO STAY DURING AUDITION

Please wear something comfortable you can dance in that also shows your individual style!

Who can audition? Any individual can audition for this team that is 18 years of age or older by August 1^st, 2023

Are their height and/or weight requirements? No

How quickly will rehearsals begin and what days of the week are they? Practices will begin roughly 2-3 weeks post auditions and occur on Tuesday & Thursday evenings.

How many times does the Scream Team perform per season? The team will perform a timeout routine at roughly 20 games per season, but still has a presence at each home game. Non-performance game days include participating in meet and greets with fans on concourse, t-shirt tosses, and other game day interactive elements.
