NEW AT MODA CENTER FOR 2024-25
Levy, Moda Center’s food and beverage provider, has refreshed many food items across the arena, including Pretzel-Wrapped Sausages, Samosa Nachos, Carne Asada Fries, and many more tasty offerings. Additionally, Moda Center has welcomed new local restaurant options Top Burmese (A5), Tip Top Burger Shop (B13), and Fusion Shave Ice (C5). Craft beer lovers can enjoy the recently announced Rip City IPA – a co-branded beer from the Trail Blazers and Rogue Ale & Spirits – which can be purchased throughout Moda Center.
The organization recently announced the addition of 10 Oscar Sort AI Recycling Assistant devices throughout the Moda Center concourses to help divert waste from landfills by guiding fans to make correct sorting decisions. Using AI, Oscar Sort instantly recognizes compostable, recyclable, and reusable items, guiding fans to dispose of them correctly. For example, if a fan is holding a Rip City Reuse cup and an aluminum can, Oscar will direct them to recycle the can and place the cup in the designated reuse bin. This quick and seamless interaction gamifies recycling, transforming waste disposal into an engaging and meaningful experience.
Moda Center is a sensory-inclusive venue, and we are proud to offer a new Sensory room, courtesy of our partners DSP Connections, inside Moda Center, which can be accessed by visiting one of our Guest Information booths. Additionally, we have worked with KultureCity to train our Guest Experience team members to better assist guests who have sensory needs. We offer sensory bags, including noise-canceling headphones, fidget toys, and feeling thermometers at both venues. Sensory Bags can be checked out for free at our Guest Information Booths with either an ID or credit card.
Over the summer, Moda Center formed a partnership with Evolv Technology to add Evolv Express® systems to the arena’s security infrastructure. The new technology provides an efficient screening process, that can help allow fans to spend less time in line and more time in the arena enjoying the game. Evolv Express ® uses advanced sensor technology combined with artificial intelligence to differentiate between certain threats and many everyday metal objects people carry in their pockets.
