Warriors Host Wish Week For Make-A-Wish Youth

The Golden State Warriors hosted Warriors Wish Week, in partnership with Make-A-Wish®, during the team’s home games at Oracle Arena on December 11 and 13. Warriors forward Harrison Barnes hosted 14-year-old native Cole Vitiritto and his family for the Warriors’ matchup with the Houston Rockets and Warriors guard Stephen Curry hosted 14-year-old Anthony Guzman and his family for the team’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks.

Cole and Anthony, both with life-threatening medical conditions, served as honorary game captains, sat courtside during pregame shootaround, received a locker room tour, complimentary dinner in the Courtside Club courtesy of Levy Restaurants, and more, courtesy of Barnes and Curry.

Warriors Wish Week is part of the team’s Plays for the Holidays community outreach campaign as part of the NBA Cares Season of Giving, with the Warriors organization and every Warriors player participating in events this holiday season to help brighten the lives of local families and youth in the Bay Area.
