Warriors Assign Festus Ezeli to Santa Cruz; Recall Ognjen Kuzmic from D-League

The Golden State Warriors have assigned center Festus Ezeli to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, the team announced today. Additionally, the team has recalled Ognjen Kuzmic from his D-League assignment.

Ezeli has missed Golden State’s last 16 games (since December 25) due to a left ankle sprain. The 6’11” center has appeared in 21 games (seven starts) this season, averaging 4.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per contest.

Kuzmic was most recently assigned to Santa Cruz on January 15. Last night, the 7’0” center recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds in 28 minutes during a 102-89 loss versus Bakersfield at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz. He has appeared in 15 games this season with Golden State, averaging 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in 4.7 minutes.
