Warriors forward David Lee was a consistent source of production for the Warriors this season. On a team full of perimeter threats, Lee focused on doing most of his damage in the interior, ranking fourth in the NBA in points in the paint (13.1). He was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for the week that bridged 2013 and 2014, and became just the fifth player in team history to average at least 16 points and nine rebounds in four straight seasons. Lee was the team’s third highest score (18.2 ppg) and second-leading rebounder (9.3 rpg) behind Andrew Bogut, who he teamed up with to form perhaps the league’s top interior passing duo.

2013-14 Season Review: David Lee

Veteran swingman Andre Iguodala came to the Warriors with the reputation as one of the NBA’s premiere perimeter defenders, and that certainly held true during his first season with the club. Acquired via a sign-and-trade that involved two other teams, Iguodala did a little bit of everything for the Warriors. He was selected to the NBA's All-Defensive First Team, was fifth in NBA Defensive Player of the Year voting and was the only Dubs player to rank in the team’s top five in scoring (9.3 ppg), rebounding (4.7 rpg), assists (4.2 apg) and steals (1.51 spg). Iguodala was often charged with ball-handling duties so Stephen Curry can work off the ball, and he proved he was ready for the big moment with a pair of game-winning shots at the buzzer this season.

2013-14 Season Review: Andre Iguodala

One of the premiere shooters in the game, Klay Thompson showed tremendous growth as an all-around player during the 2013-14 season. Thompson’s 223 regular season 3-pointers were second in the NBA to teammate and fellow Splash Brother Stephen Curry, and the Warriors were 24-9 when he had at least 20 points. Thompson became more adept at taking the ball to the basket as the season went on and he was often tasked with defending the opponent’s top guard. Thompson and Curry were the NBA’s highest scoring starting backcourt, and it wouldn’t be a big surprise if that holds true over the next few seasons.

2013-14 Season Review: Klay Thompson

The more he played, the more 18-year NBA veteran Jermaine O'Neal produced. A leader on the court and in the locker room, O’Neal averaged 7.9 points and 5.5 rebounds in 20.1 minutes over 44 games. Although he missed a significant portion of the season with a torn ligament in his left wrist, O’Neal was often the go-to scorer on the Warriors’ reserve unit. He also averaged 10.5 points and 7.1 rebounds in 13 starting assignments, not including the three games he started in the playoffs.

2013-14 Season Review: Jermaine O'Neal

In his first year with the Warriors, Marreese Speights gave the Warriors some much-needed front court depth. While his playing time fluctuated throughout the season, the sixth-year forward certainly produced in his time on the floor. His averages of 6.4 points and 3.7 rebounds were his lowest since 2010-11, but stretch out those numbers over 36-minute averages and Speights was the team’s second leading rebounder and fifth leading scorer. Speights became more consistent in the latter half of the season, and in the playoffs he turned in two double-digit scoring efforts.

2013-14 Season Review: Marreese Speights

The Warriors’ acquisition of Steve Blake at the trade deadline gave the club a traditional point guard to back up Curry and company, and the Dubs proceeded to go 19-9 with Blake in the lineup. The veteran point guard totaled 102 assists to just 31 turnovers with the Warriors, and that 3.29:1 assist-to-turnover ratio would have ranked fifth in the league for the duration of the season. Blake was the team’s primary distributor off the bench, as his six games with at least five assists were more than all other Warriors reserves combined. The Dubs were 11-0 when he had at least four assists, including the regular season finale in which he had 15.

The midseason acquisition of Jordan Crawford gave the Warriors a much needed scorer off the bench. Playing his fourth NBA season, Crawford averaged 8.4 points in 15.7 minutes over 25 games with the Dubs after starting in place of the injured Rajon Rondo for the first half of the season in Boston. The Warriors were 12-4 when Crawford scored at least 10 points, and that includes the regular season finale when he went off for 41 points in a win at Denver. That was one of just two 40-point games by a Warriors reserve this season, and it marked the first time a Warriors player has done that off the bench since Cazzie Russell in March of 1974.

2013-14 Season Review: Jordan Crawford

Draymond Green was certainly a contributor to the team’s success during the regular season, but in the playoffs he took his game to another level. The only Warrior to play in all 89 games (regular season and playoffs), Green did a little bit of everything for the team during the 2013-14 campaign. He quadrupled his 3-point output from his rookie season while his scoring (6.2 ppg), rebounding (5.0 rpg) and shooting percentage (40.7%) also picked up. The forward posted three double-doubles during the playoff series against the Clippers in which he was asked to defend All-Star forward Blake Griffin, and his versatility will certainly make him a key contributor to Warriors success for years to come.
