Warriors To Host Wish Week For Make-A-Wish Youth
Harrison Barnes To Host Wish Kid During Tonight’s Game Against Dallas;
Stephen Curry To Host Wish Kid During Friday’s Game Against Houston

The Golden State Warriors will host Warriors Wish Week, in partnership with Make-A-Wish®, for the team’s home games at Oracle Arena tonight, Wednesday, December 11 against the Dallas Mavericks and Friday, December 13 against the Houston Rockets, the team announced today. Warriors forward Harrison Barnes will host 14-year-old Des Moines, IA native Cole Vitiritto and his family tonight and Warriors guard Stephen Curry will host 14-year-old Anthony Guzman and his family from Haverhill, MA on Friday night giving Cole and Anthony the opportunity to meet and watch their childhood heroes play basketball for the first time. Cole and Anthony, both with life-threatening medical conditions, will serve as honorary game captains, sit courtside during pre-game shootaround, receive a locker room tour, complimentary dinner in the Courtside Club courtesy of Levy Restaurants, and more, courtesy of Barnes and Curry.

In addition, Barnes and Curry have set up additional gifts and surprises for Cole, Anthony and their families during their trips. Barnes’ additional gifts for Cole include:

  • A tour of the Warriors practice facility in Oakland, including the opportunity to shoot baskets with Barnes
  • A one-on-one match-up against Barnes in NBA 2K14, one of Barnes’ and Cole’s favorite video games, in the Warriors practice facility players’ lounge
  • adidas gear for the entire family to wear during their trip and at the Warriors game on Wednesday night
  • Dinner for Cole and his entire family with Barnes at Farina in San Francisco
  • A complimentary Uber ride to and from the practice facility and dinner on Thursday evening

Curry’s additional gifts for Anthony include:

  • The opportunity to attend and watch morning shootaround at the Warriors practice facility in Oakland before Friday night’s game
  • A Stephen Curry PlayStation4, complete with travel box and handheld PlayStation, along with the opportunity to challenge Curry in video games after morning shootaround in the players’ lounge
  • Courtesy of Under Armour, Anthony and his family will receive swag bags of SC30 custom clothes along with Anthony receiving custom made shoes that include the same personalized shoe liner inside Curry’s Atomic Spawns game shoes he will wear Friday night
  • An individual locker inside the Warriors official locker room for Friday’s game
  • Muscle Milk will host the family in their suite at halftime where they’ve created a Muscle Milk poster featuring Anthony. Curry will also present Anthony with a personalized Muscle Milk bottle featuring Anthony and Curry pre-game in the locker room
  • A custom-made Men’s Wearhouse suit designed as an exact replica of one of Curry’s favorite suits
  • A custom framed gift from Capri Sun from the Kids vs. Pro Event

Warriors Wish Week is part of the team’s Plays for the Holidays community outreach campaign as part of the NBA Cares Season of Giving, with the Warriors organization and every Warriors player participating in events this holiday season to help brighten the lives of local families and youth in the Bay Area.
